First of all, a bit of a clarification:
What is Paintbomb? It is a multiplayer, turn based arena game in the browser, where the players get a paint bomb each turn and have to "blow up" each other to get score.
Did you write this game? Yes, I did. I'll share some more info about it later, the reason why I started developing it, and what my plans are for the future.
How do I play? Basically, every once in a while (hopefully in every 24h) a new game starts. You can join the game, and when the game starts, you can send in orders in every turn (every 60mins or so). At the end of each turn the game map and player scores are updated, all at once. You will get scores for players who were in your bomb's radius, and addition positive or negative scores for standing at special locations.
Is it fun? Yes, it's very good fun! You need to be smarter than you opponents to be able to score. The game is very interesting to play, and also very addictive.
How much does it cost? It is free. Obviously, there are some quotas I need to watch, but hopefully we won't have any issues with that for a while yet.
Why does it ask for my Google login? It doesn't actually. I asks you to login at Google, and allow the game to use your username for identification. We do not store any of your other details.
Who can play? Guess.. :D
ATM I am looking for players. If you are interested, please return to this blog on Tuesday, 8th of May, when I will publish the beta link.

Cool! When it comes out, I'll be sure to jump in and play!
